hey guys i need help overclocking my amd fx 6100. 3.3gz
spces.
amd fx 6100 3.3gz/ want to get up to 4.0 at least
asrock 990fx ex4.
sapphire 7970 OC w/boost
g skills sniper s. 1866mhz.
700watt PSU
4 cool master 120mm case fans
stock cpu cooling. 🙁
plz let me know what i need to do and if i even need to change voltage.
havnt overclocked a cpu before only a Gpu.

First get a better cpu cooler

my temps are super low already, will get one if needed. wanted to see what they would be after overclocking cause right now at 3.3gz there around 38 to 45 - 45 being under load. 50 tops

6100 fx max temp is around 73, so ive heard

I linked to the W7 64 version though they're likely all the same. Click on the LOWEST of the overclocking methods and monitor your temperature.
