AMD FX 6300 6 CORE CPU only showing 3 cores in task manager.

Can you please tell me why it is not showing 6.

As far as I understand the fx 6xxx series has 3 modules and each of them has 2 integer units (Clustered MultiThreading), so the data task manager is showing is correct.
But someone with more knowledge on the subject may correct me if i'm wrong.

So I think it should actually show 3 cores there.

My i7-920 is "8 core" but it is, in reality, 4 real cores and 4 virtual cores so that is why it shows only 4 there just like, in your case, 3 out of 6.
