AMD fx 8320 bottleneck r9 280x?!

Solution
You've spent a good amount of cash behind your system so anything I say in response to your latest question would only result in more expenditure. You're worrying over something that won't ruin your gaming experience 😉 Relax and keep playing!

Are you experiencing this issue after you've moved onto Windows 10 from a previous platform or are you gauging the bottleneck via other users on the web with a similar/identical setup?

Hi,

I have same issue in both windows (win10 and 8.1)

Post picture via dropbox (please tell me if you can see it)

Thanks for the help

here my specs:

Amd fx 8320 ~ 4,4ghz
Ati r9280x
Asus M5a97 r2.0
8gb memory
kingstone 120gb ssd (x2)
Windows 10 ( previous win8.1)

what i´ve done:
format install windows.
new drivers
tested de processor, if i downgrade to default speed 3500 ghz frames drop a litle 2\3 fps.

ok,

resolution : 1920x1080 (samsung tv) or 1650x1050 (asus monitor)

Games : fallout 4 (screenshot), ark survival envolved ( here gpu goes 99%), call of duty advanced warfare ( 60fps achived with vsinc)

See when you speak of seeing the same frame rates in both your OS's then that means that on the hardware side.
1| I can't say about the ram's frequency but an overclock with AMD processors are best served with a memory overclock as well, so we also need to know the make+model of your ram kit.
2| Your motherboard has PCI-E 2.0 whereas the GPU is a PCI-E 3.0 card. It may be backwards compatible but you are loosing out on some bandwidth.
3| What sort of numbers were you expecting?

hi again :)

3)i was expecting in fallout exemple, that the graphics card use all the power available (99%) to reach the maximun frames possible (in this game some areas i reach 60 fps, but gpu load never at 99%, is arount 70%)

2) may be the problem

1) this is the info extrated from cpu-z (you can see all file were https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/99141336/PC.html):

hi again and thanks for your replies,

i´ve changed memories to 1714mhz (my fsb is at 215) and i saw 1/2 frame more in same spot in game.

For conclution porpuses i ask, in your opinion, my system "weak spot" is the memories? or main board? or cpu?
My cpu (none of the cores) reaching 100% not even 70% , GPU reaching only 70% probably there´s something slowing my system down...

Solution
You´re right 😛 i can play very well with this system (for my standers) although changing from a scene at 60fps to a scene at 37 you can feel it 😛 .
I was only hopping for a solution\explanation, i will not spend more money for sure 😛 i have (i think) this system since 2013 and i want to mantain until 2018 😛 just trying to understand were is my limitation
That gpu and cpu utilization for me isn´t right 😛 at least one of them (cpu or gpu) should be at 95-100% to reach maximum frame rate.

again, thanks for your time :)
