So i've recently built my new Workstation computer+ Gaming PC.

Anyways I have bought a Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 mobo with the FX-8350 Eight core processor, and I have a Corsair H60 liquid cooler. When I boot into windows and monitor my temps through Asus' software it's showing 45 degrees celsius with liquid cooling!

I'm not OC or Running turbo mode, i'm actually running in energy saving mode. When it's underload i'm getting 65 degrees celsius and i get warnings saying "Warning CPU centigrade 65 degrees celsius" I get the same results with Stock cooler.

I have Artic Silver 5 thermal compound applied to it, are these normal temps for the Piledriver series? Should i invest into a better liquid cooling system? Should i try to re apply thermal compound?

If it is the cooling system which one do you recommend for this monster CPU?

I don't want Intel fanboys coming on here say " AMD SUCKS BLOWS ETC."

I just need some opinions, i know 125 tdp give higher temps but i think this is a lot or am i fine? Tips please.

I have a 8350 with msi 970 mob. In a sentry case with 9 fans. Artic freezer pro 7. My idle temps are very low. In battlefield 4 50c with an occasional jump to 53c. In parts of the game that are not to stress ed temps will drop down to 40c. I was hitting 58 to 60c with the stock cooler. Since I installed the pro 7 temps much better. I have been using 3 different temp programs, these readings are from the program the reads the highest. Core temp. Just thought I would let you know how my system is doing. I think the fans have a lot to do with it.

Hey i have to add something to this
I have nearly the same system as you have, fx 8350, m5a97 r2 evo and a r9 270x. i am using a aircooler scthe mugen 4 on the fan speed of 20-30%. i get about 35 in idle and on high load i have max 47. Therefore i cant understand why your cpu has the high temps with a watercooler. i would suggest you to take out your fan and try another one. look at the tamps if they are still like that or higher, its propably the CPu at its own or the mainboard.

and if thats so i hope you have warranty. I am using that 25 euro aircooler and it works totaly fine, i play dying light on ultra with temps under 50°C and video editing too. SO if you wont to try an other cooler i would suggest you that one (cheap but good). i wrote the wrong one its the scythe katana 3 that i have
