AMD FX 8350 equivalent CPU ??

depends on your workload.
amd positioned it between core i5 and core i7 cpus.
in terms of price, it is equivalent to intel core i5 cpus.
in terms of gaming performance, it is equivalent to core i3 series cpus most of the time, in multiplayer cases it's better than core i3 but worse than core i5 and in multithreaded game situations it is close to core i5 but not better.
in terms of single threaded performance it is equivalent to pentiums when overclocked to 4.8 ghz. in terms of multithreaded (4 core) performance it's close to core i5 and for tasks that can use 8 cores, it's close to core i7 cpus. in highly specific tasks, it can meet or beat even lga 2011 sandy bridge e cpus (but not in gaming).

OK I really like this video on YouTube.

An FX8350 may be comparable to an i5 in general. But can keep up to an i7 where the application is really threaded like video encoding, editing, 3D modeling etc are usually highly threaded where AMD really shines

AMD FX-8350 is VERY close to i7-3770k in heavily threaded applications, and in some situations, it beats it...especially with certain games that are heavily threaded. The i5-3570k really only bests the FX-8350 in single threaded applications according to the newest benchmarks, and in the vast majority of those cases, it wouldn't make enough difference that you would notice it without having a screen up telling you it's different.

Keep in mind...the FX-8350 is about $40 cheaper than an i5-3570k and about $140-150 cheaper than an i7-3770k

AMD processors are cheap and equally compete with intel, I was having a great confusion when buying a new Assemble PC I was very confused with 2 processors the intel's i5 3570k and AMD's FX8350, But I was very tight on budget not exceeding more than $723 , but i7 processors are very expensive and only the FX 8350 model can somehow compete an i7 3770k but it is way cheap than an i7 or i5 processor , So I bought Amd FX 8350.

Excellent man, you should be fine with that CPU...the difference between it and the high end i5's in lightly threaded applications isn't bad, and in heavily multithreaded things, like Crysis 3 for example, the AMD even comes out ahead in a lot of cases.

Please share some solution love :)

I'm sorry but I just have to comment. 8350, your really only a 'CPU Expert' because you really only post on that, and you only really promote your FX-8350. Please try and advance, and no it doesn't beat it in most cases. Where Hashing comes into play and threaded apps, the 8350 dominates the i5s but is neck to neck at the most with a stock i7-3770k.

Why are you trolling?
