I am building a Computer for my music production for my studio. I already have
-Gigabyte 78LMT USB3 MOBO with AM3+ socket type
-AMD Athlon II X3 3.0GHz processor
-256GB Corsair Solid State Drive & extra 5TB Seagate HDD for extra space
-8x2 Corsair Vengeance Black edition 1600MHz RAM
-Corsair CX500M 500 Watts PSU
-Corsair Carbide 400r

I work a lot with applications like Pro Tools, Ableton Live 9, Cubase. And a little bit of Adoe Premiere and Adobe After Effects for Video editing.
Please suggest me to upgrade my processor to either of AMD FX 8350 or AMD FX 9590. And also do i need a liquid cooler to cool my processor.

Well first of all, your current parts won't even support the 9590 so that's out. Are you planning on upgrading any other parts? If not, avoid all of the cpus over 95w as you'll have more problems than performance. One of the newer FX83xxe would be fine.

whats wrong with the Corsair 500w PSU with the fx8350?
yes it is a BRONZE PSU but if he is not thinking OCing why not?
AMD FX-8350 (4 GHz, turbo to 4.2 GHz, 125W TDP) vs 95 is not that much. 12vx10.4A=125w vs 12vx7.916A=95w.
the psu have a max load of 38A which is 3x it support.
but just don't put 2 high end power pig video card with it.

The CX500M is powerful enough, it's just not reliable enough. It's mediocre at best.

The motherboard is the reason I would go with a 95w cpu. It may officially support 125w cpus, but the FX8350 will NOT run 100% on it all the time. It will throttle at loads I almost guarantee it. 780 series motherboards are not very good.

Power supply is fine, its the power delivery from the motherboard, while it can technically run the 8350, it will be slightly crippled due to power constraints, has nothing to do with the power supply
