Approximate Purchase Date: 3-4 months

Budget Range: <$875

System Usage: Primarily Gaming and internet browsing

Are you buying a monitor: Need a monitor

Do you need to buy OS: Yes (preferably Windows 8)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Mainly Newegg, Amazon, MicroCenter, and TigerDirect

Location: Washington State

Parts Preferences: AMD Processor and Nvidia Graphics Card (encouraged but not required)

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Depends on build. If it's a Radeon Card, Crossfire would be nice and SLI if Nvidia.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080p

Additional Comments: Planning to play games like ARMA 2/3, Crysis 3, Skyrim, and Splinter-Cell Blacklist at high-ultra settings with a playable fps. 8GB Ram and 1TB Hard Drive strongly preferred.

Why Are You Upgrading?: $450 laptop isn't cutting it for gaming and I'm dissapointed with the next generation of consoles.

I'm not going to give you a build, just a piece of advice. Someone else can post a general build for you now, but in 3-4 months prices are going to change, new models will come out, and there will be different deals going on. In 3-4 months you can wait for Cyber Monday/black friday and build a very nice system for cheap. Just to let you know :)

This is it, I end up a build with these parts, suppose suffice for your need, like you said, with OS.

But if you can get OS for free, I recommend this build, really that near-future game even upcoming game like BF4 would need or more than 4(intel)/6(AMD) thread to run flawlessly, so here:
