Greeting Everyone.
Last night my pc stopped working after an intensive 12-13 hours gaming session playing Battlefield 3 on Ultra settings. Now the system won't start. I got the PSU checked and it works fine. So it might be the MOBO or the CPU which could be fried, though the light on the MOBO is lit.
P.S. My current CPU is AMD phenom II X3 720 BE which had an unlocked 4th core and overclocked at 3.5 GHZ with stable voltage settings.
Below is my set up:
AMD Phenom II X3 720 BE( Unlocked 4th core with 3.5GHZ)
MSI 790GX-G65 motherboard
Transcend DDR3 2GbX2
Zotac GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GB DDR5
Seagate 1TB Barracuda 7200RPM
Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 500W.
CPU Cooler : Deepcool Gammaxx 200 ( http://www.deepcool-us.com/Product/GAMMAXX200/ )
NZXT Phantom 410 with 3 additional 120 MM fans
So I need to know which MOBO+ CPU should I consider. I would still prefer an AMD set up but Intel set is welcome as well. Help me out Brothers..
Thanks in advance.
