[SOLVED] Amd gpu together with nvidia

Hi,
I want to use my existing computer with a 1070ti and add a new card the rog asus rx560 4gb, my question is, does nvidia gpus work with amd gpus?
I only need the amd gpu for an extra 2 screens, is that possible? I have a ryzen 5 1600X.

Your 1070ti should have plenty of DP and HDMI ports for multiple monitor setups.

It has 5 video outs. As long as its not for gaming or high resolution you can buy fairly cheap DVI to HDMI, HDMI to DP (or vice versa) adapters.


They also make Displayport hubs that allow you to split one DP cable into 3 or 4 outputs. They are usually around 70-100 USD.

Oh yeah just saw that. You could try adding another card but I would recommend another cheap Nvidia, 1050tis, 1050s etc are pretty cheap on the used market right now. over a AMD one just to avoid driver conflicts as much as possible

IDK how it would be possible to run AMD & INVIDA gpus simultaneously on the same rig. They both require display drivers that would conflict with each other.
