Hi everyone,

So I bought a new Asrock Motherboard along with receiving a replacement PSU from corsair and I isntalled them both in my current case, after a couple of days of using my PC with this setup I began my normal boot and everytime I would get an error message popup on the desktop saying "no amd driver installed or driver isn't functioning properly". So I thought maybe they have been corrupted so I used DDU (displaydriveruninstaller) to remove the drivers to install the latest ones.

Again after the install the same message popped up, I tried this a few times and no change; I even reseated the GPU into my board to make sure it was fitted in properly as well as using a different PCI-E lead.

The card a AMD RADEON 7850OC 2GB GDDR5 from Sapphire, The device manager section recognizes the card likewise Sapphire's Trixx utility software however in the Trixx program both clock speeds are at 0 MHz. I tried using device manager to install the drivers via windows but it refused and said that the device wouldn't function properly.

I have contacted Sapphire to request an RMA on hold, but I'm not 100% sure whether the card has gone or there is some confliction which I can fix.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Luke
