When you mention the release of Nvidia drivers, you never mention the continuing problems they have in their release notes.

To be fair I did a quick check of all recent news articles related to driver releases and this looks to be the only one that includes the ongoing problems for both companies. The other recent news articles have been written by Leon Chan, it could just be a difference in styles.

Finishing touch on my new build: gotta pick a GPU.
The thorny decision I'm facing? to go Win10 (which I'm running on this office-grade PC) or go back to ... my friend and yours ... Win7.

FWIW I still (after many months) find Win10 PITA.

Win 10 has to be used, all that lovely DX12.
Also, run some Ashampoo antispy software to turn off the monitoring.

Got 1 on broken Nvidia drivers but hesitant of the new andrenaline drivers been really hit or misss still on 18.2.1 atm on 2 builds with 10 paused, got 1 to convert from Nvidia to AMD its going be an intresting test. I am on the AMD forums & alot of issues from both ends. Nvidias have crippled 1 of mine.
