This does not go for laptops - they seem prone to failures. Especially those from hp made in 2009. So far I've had a 30% failrate on those I've received this year, and I'm hearing from the IT department of another educational facility that their hp's fail at 25% rate as well while their lonovo systems manage better, but still fail at least 10% within 1 year of purchase. And they're all intel chips ofc. In fact I know of noone in the trade that knowingly bought an amd based laptop.
