But Cpu-z in the picture doesn't recognize a family for the cpu (I still have a good feeling it's fake, but I don't think that the L3 is the reason why.).
The author of CPUz confirmed, all are fake:
Hey guys,
cpuz does not even look for a L3 cache on K8, so, there are very very little chance it displays one, unless the prog is tweaked / debugged / photoshoped.
So, all are fakes.

Okay but look at that CPU-z picture and you will see that it doesn't recognize a Kx family for the cpu. It doesn't assign any family to the cpu. Do you even read what I type, I've typed this three times.

sorry it was doctored in photoshop
what these guys are doing is deleting the text in the boxes and typing in new text. then to hide what they did they apply a filter over the top to add noise or a pattern and the whole image gets written over. this blends the new text in with the rest of the picture and makes it look sort of normal. the dead give away is if the pattern does not follow the pixel pattern of the display the picture was taken off of. (assuming its a digital camera photo) if the picture is a screen shot there should be no pattern (unless the image was compressed, but with compressed images its common to loose peices of text since its so thin)
Well that's what I think, but you never can be sure I guess. I wasn't trying to imply that it was or wasn't real, in case anyone is confused.

Are you blind or stupid?
It is recognized as AMD Opteron 148 (UP), which is a K8 CPU!

It doesn't assign any family to the cpu.
It is irrelevant. Read what CPUz said!

Yes I read, but I wonder the same about you.

I've typed this three times.
Me, too.

i am glad youre not suicidal

lol omg.. hehe the thing i wrote before yeah, that wanst meant to be a suicide note haha =='';!! yeah i sccrew jokes up bad. i wrote the first part in reply to ur nda not talking thing and then i wrote it so you would have to read slowly, and that you should! be thinking along the lines that i was about to say " a world without nda" but i twisted it to me 0.o

SRY 4 being a noobz...
But i dont really get it, sure im an intel fanboy etc...

My 4300 (1.8) oc to 3.1Ghz reads ~1.29v under load, so the voltage is no beez kneez.

4 cores 4 threads. Again maybe cpu-z update, but wasnt this gonna have hyper transport/threading?

1.9Ghz... maybe its throttled, but 1.9 on a quad is no big deal is it?

Bus speed 200Mhz, as above. QDR = 800Mhz, thats netburst/laptop territory innit?

Cache, with 12Mb for the Penryn quads 2Mb here is a laff... maybe its 2x4?

Even with all the fancy new instructions, with my limited knowledge this chip with 3Ghz will be a smack in the mouth to Intel now, but by christmas its little more than giving them the FU finger.

I dunno, maybe im missing some nugget of info, but i cant see anything to get excited abt here... which is still sad, but totally expected.

EDIT:
Im from Perth ^^^
But i wasnt born here so dont hold it against me mmkay 😛
