in you guy's opinion, what do you think is more important, AMD mantle API that will help push innovation graphics visuals and remove Stagnation from software. (this in my opinion will shame and blame lot dev teams that just horrible at optimization if they can't even get mantle work properly )
or Gsnyc from Nvidia that is suppose remove shutters/screen tear (without vsync) and input lag made from Vysnc.
from my opinion, it would seem a good TN panel monitor with 120HZ/144hz should remove 90% of issues that Gysnc seems be tackling, then price of Nvidia cards is not justified, not in australia anyways
(capping your FPS removes input lag 59fps or 119fps)
as mantle will make Crossfire scaling and issues that they have with it gone. i don't know... it just seems like lately nvidia is kinda butt hurt or something.
Don't get me wrong i use go with Nvidia due to there good drivers, but i had enough paying stupid high price, for what seems lack of innovation and just max profits not such more care for consumer.
AMD on other hand with this API is big thing for me as it helps push gaming genre forward. and i wanna support that. i don't have screen tear issues or shutter issues. if i do i don't notice it on either my IPS panels or my Tn 120hz panels.
i do see reason of Gsnyc for low end hardware, but monitors are pricey... so what would be point in end if i can just get 2 good cards with good 120hz monitor... all issues that gsync talks about is solved, i could be wrong but i only notice issues if you drop fps on uneven FPS like 46 or so... anyone with right mind that cares about tear and shutter would not be cheaping out on there GPU's.
