So I've looked around on the forums and the internet, didn't really find much about this, and I'd really like to know which systems benefit the most, like a weak cpu/ high gpu vs high cpu/weak gpu , and also crossfire improvements. so here is my benchmark from the star swarm stress test (free on steam) I removed my overclocks and I'm running a 8350 + 280x , and I got a 45% fps increase. I also have a 25% fps increase in bf4.

mantle isn't out yet...

yeah it is. http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx

finally

Mantle is so far working rather nicely. THe key thing here is how many games will actually use mantle, and if the game will look as good as on DIrectX.

WE are still waiting for more in-depth tests, and probably will have to for a few more months untill more games are out.

i think the hardest part is how to convince developer to use it especially without any sponsorship or tie to AMD gaming evolved program. yes performance improvement is nice but from developer perspective coding for mantle path will mean more resource needed.

got a 30% increase on bf4 😀 no i can use antiaillasing 😀
