amd od and vrm thermal margin

I have a msi 970 gaming motherboard and using it to overclock an FX 8300. When I click on board status in OD, it's saying I have a 78 degree thermal margin on my vrm reading. HWMonitor is showing the temp to be 62 degrees already. OD can't be right, can it?

AOD starts being unreliable when overclocking. I don't even get those readings when my FX 6350 is OCed like this 4.82GHz.

Yes, I always OC thru BIOS only, SW is just not reliable for that.
