AMD or Intel

I'm Planning to buy a new processor because my current cpu(which is AMD FX 4300) is not good enough for gaming i think.....
i was planning to get i5 4690k or a skylake core i5 cpu but it's gonna cost me more so now i'm planning to buy AMD FX 8320(cause my mb mis 970a G43 does not support 8350 ) and a new gpu later this year waiting for amd R9 300 series.......... My current gpu is Sapphire 270x.
is FX 8320 is a good cpu for gaming? what should i do?

My build is:-

Sapphire R9 270x
AMD FX- 4300
500 GB SSHD
1 TB wd CG HDD
120 GB samsung EVO SSD
Corsair VS550 PSU
8 GB RAM
MSI 970a G43 Mb

if you want your rig to be upgradable wait for skylake. the i5 haswell right now is not a bad chip if your just going to when you have the funds add a faster gpu.

A FX6300 will be better for more CPU intensive games.

Or a FX8350 will be good for nearly all high end games

An i5 or an i7 is generally better again. But needs a new motherboard

I'd go for clockable Intel i5 CPU for games, when I looked for my desktop PC, I found, that many games are simply better optimised for Intel.

i mostly play games like bf series, cod series mostly fps and RPG and some turn based game like civ 5
i live in india and pc component is really expensive like i5 4690k in U.S.A is for $215 and if u convert that it's 13k here but it sells for around 17k which is $266 because of tax and custom duty so i have 2 option either buy FX 8320 for $156 or upgrade my pc skylake cpu that's gonaa cost me around 40-45k which is $627..because i'll need new mb and DDR4 RAM which is really expensive So what u think?

and DDR4 ram cost same as DDR3 ram so that's not gonna be a problem but still i have to see how much skylake i5 and a mb is gonna cost..

The fx4300 should be OK at minimum settings

The easiest way is to just upgrade your CPU. If you can get an 8320 then that would be much better.

i already finished bf4 at ultra setting without any problem
so what i want to know if i get fx 8320 and use for another 1-2 year with my current 270X will i be okay at gaming and i'm planning to upgrade to amd 300 series

Then I gather you're using a low res monitor.

Yes the 8320 will run the 270x no worries.

If you upgrade to 390x then you need to use an intel CPU.

i play at 1080p so i think i'll we okay with 8320 and 270x
