Ahh gotcha, right on! Good stuff! Nice mobo BTW. My micro atx MSI has such poor voltage regulation / stability it makes me scared to push it any further. Wish I would have gone full atx with a ud3 or ud5.

I went from a 870A-G54 with A) terrible audio drivers that would shriek like a demon when starting, shutting down, restarting; and B) terrible voltage parameters/increments. Plus it wasn't native to DDR3-1600 which caused problems. From a PhII x3 740 BE @ 3.4 to a x5 @ 4.0+ is satisfying. Cost me $210 for the mobo, CPU, and a 120GB Agility 3 ^,_,^

Nice amdbeliever
impressive 5 cores at 4.0 on 1.45 is nice
what is your max temp on load and roomt temp?
I have poor vision

and i would trust the mobo manual more than CPUz.
just double check the mobo manual and go by its instructions
Hardware info software isnt always right.

Nothing crazy, mobo is holding me back grrr... But still not bad for a micro atx build :heink: Least it gets me on the charts. My ram timings are rocking so very pleased (thanks corsair for the killer / non dominator ram hehe). Still has a bit more to give. This chip has a somewhat weak 5th core so have to kick the voltage up to keep #5 stable on long test runs or it generally drops out around the 1 hour mark if I run 1.45V

Meh, the I wish they made the NZXT 210 Tempest in White though. That case is super nice for the price. Probably going to get that paint white and get some fans when I have the money to do so. After I get my 7850 or 7870 of course 😀

Just playing around tonight. (insomnia) Stable OC on 4 cores (5&6 shut down) I figured this is fair to make a 6 core into a 4 core since they are all lumped into the same group. Very hard to push a 6 core number wise into 4 core territory on standard liquid or air cooling / no cooling modifications such as a loop with ice or what not. Pushed it to the absolute limit on my little system. Not to bad for a micro atx :kaola:

@mal
'but can it play MS Hearts, Freecell and Solitaire.?'
guesswhat , i got a system that can do that easily and you can have it at a discounted price of 200 dollers (indian Rs10000)(amd athlon x2 7750 with hidden cores + am2+ board + 3gb ddr2 ram), so what are you waiting for, say deal or no deal. Lol

@garage1217
i think
if your temp are around 50 or less then you can hit 4.5 or 5g at that voltage,
you can try to play with fsb

@ truegenius - Mobo is holding me back on this one and I am fine with that. Also keeping it 6 cores @ 4.0 / 4.2T. Temps measured were 32C on 4 cores but if one goes with what others say and add 10C (being a thubane), it would have been 42C. And yes malmental... it can... vigorously :)

stable able to play game and stay on for hours and im new to oc so any tips im open

with the 965BE to hit 3.8GHz, all you have to do is hit the multi.
to get 4.0GHz then you might need to manually set voltage..
how many times have you BSOD or not boot, if you have had any.?

lol i don't know what BSOD? well i got to 4.073 and it shut down and i couldn't keep it there i try ed and it just wouldn't do it so 3.8 is what i am stuck at for now until i get my FX 8 core and if you could explain like i said i am new to oc and the lingo . and i guess i could go into the bios and change the multiplier but it was just something that i was trying to see if i could do see what i can get out of this before i replace it
