Uhm... I haven't really tried NB OC... Any pointers on volt and speed?

I don't want to turn off CnC, though.

I went down from the 4.11Ghz to 3.98Ghz with 203 and 19.5x at 1.5-ish volts IIRC. When I get home I'll put the exact numbers.

I tried dropping the HT from 2500 to 2000 and left the NB at 2500 and wasnt stable
so back to original settings of 2500/2500 for HT/NB
will have to experiment again later
maybe go to 2000/2000 and see if I can get 3.6ghz/DDR3 1770 ram stable
I have read of my ram being stable up to 1866 in reviews so might be doable
though I might have to up the ram voltage a bit
need to go to Kingston support for data spec sheet to see save voltages

Wouldn't want to drop that NB oc, mine on 2500 mhz makes my PC feel so much more responsive compared to stock.

actually reading that link you posted microgoliath the HT at 2400mhz performed the best
at 2900mhz the HT suffered in peformance but at 2400mhz it performed well

The problem i got from that link is A: Its AMD forums and B: its a bit old. I'm actually going to do some testing myself on it soon, like 1 - 2 benches (i dont keep a lot on my PC) and then I'll post results.

i got unstable 4.5ghz@1.632v on 1 core for insane table other things are at stock

i pussed it to 1.632v
and i puss it to 70'c
so how much damage will it cause to my cpu.

Also how much will you recommend these things, so as to keep it long lasting but overclocked.

Currently having a problem where i cant run any benches since all of them cant pick up my system info, it seems i turned the service off that allowed me to see it (and for it to be shown) when i was trying to max 250 FPS constant in CoD4.

Under win7 64-bit which service allows me to see system information?

for the 3dmark stuff you need futuremark system info service

for others it could possibly be microsoft management console

if it is just 3Dmark11 or Vantage giving you a problem then it is the futuremark system info service
if all of them are giving you a problem then check MMC

Hello everyone! today I'd like to show you my AMD Athlon II 255 @ 4GHz, I've also had my AMD Athlon II 240 clocked at 4GHz as well with the same tweak's.

So far its stable! and with decent temps!
I'm using the stock cooler from my 1100T.

also try Intel Burn test to check stability

I usually run IBT two times in a row
and then P95-64bit for a hour on blend to confirm stability

i also like to run P95 the same time as Furmark GPU stress tester so that both CPU and GPU are at 100 percent at the same time
if it can do that for a half hour then I am sure it is stable

I'm sorry my AMD brethren but if (mod/CR 'riser') buys my AMD unit then I'm building another Intel and not AMD.
I hate to say it but I'm almost done.
I'm trying to wait to Piledriver but it won't be here soon enough.
and even my 975BE @ 4.2GHz still gets housed by a i5-2400 in benches.
not cool...

we'll see what happens because I'll gladly keep it but if someone wants it then I'm all in.

maybe you will come back when steamroller or excavator come out

Oh my AMD frans, was trying to wait for Piledriver. But knowing that my supported chips were getting trounced by even an i3 2100 in gaming. I just couldn't bear to wait or see it. So now I have moved to the i5 2500K @ 4.6ghz :3

I just texted a guy today from Craiglist
he has a 955BE that I have a chance for getting for $50
he has a buyer ahead of me but if they back out then I got it
should be able to get $50 for my PHII 925 and will be an even swap

kind of curious what kind of OC a 955 can do
need to check the chart at beginning of thread

Lol sorry forgot to include the rest of my comment. I had a Phenom II X4 965 BE that I OC'ed to 4.2 pretty stable, 4.1 completely stable. Loved the thing but I just recently sold the computer, hence the 2500k 😛. I'm an AMD guy but decided to go blue...
