and what ram does each mobo support

Here's the current system im building

PowerSupply: OCZ GameXStream 600W PSU
Mobo:Will be decided according to CPU
RAM:Will be decided according to Mobo
Case:NZXT Guardian 921 RB Blue LED Case
Monitor:Samsung SyncMaster BX2031 20 inch LED LCD monitor(1600x900 max res)
GraphicsCard:MSI N460GTX Hawk 1GDDR5
HardDisc: Western Digital (WD) Caviar BLUE WD5000AAKX 500GB SATA 6GB/s 16MB Cache HDD
besides the speakers, mouse, keyboard and DVD Drive that have nothing to do with compatability

ive been searching for parts for like 10 days as for the 8 gb they will cost 360 EGP 60 USD which is a very good deal might not find this for the same price l8er on so im getting 2x4 GB yeah as for the resolution its 1600x900

Good, get the 8GB... Your 1600x900 resolution means that there will be less stress on the graphics card than there would be with, say, 1920x1080. So even 460 will manage to play most of the games on medium-high settings.

About your case... there're only 3 fans there (front, rear and side). Could you try to find a case with more fans, like 4 or 5? Check Cooler Master and Antec, too...

cant get another case cos of budget besides the 3 fans are placed in good places 4 or 5 fans means hell alot more well if u know a good 1 that costs a lil bit more would be great

found a 4 fan case at a good price its a NZXT Lexa S case

Doesn't have to be more expensive... it's just that I think there're cheaper cases with more fans. How much is the Cooler Master Gladiator 600 in your country, for example? 5 fans, and it should be normally rather cheap...

EDIT: Lexa S looks like good cooling and all but one fans are included. How much? Also, find some reviews on it... I like the looks of it, would've swapped it for mine any day =)

the gladiator has only 2 fans included as for the lexa it has 4 included and 5 slots and it costs like 3.5 USDs more than the nzxt guardian 921 rb

I see... then go for Lexa S! Adding 2 fans to the Gladiator will probably cost you more than Lexa S.

Another question: what kind of ambient temperature do you have in your room? (Only in Celsius, please... I LOATHE Farenheit) If you live in a very hot country, you might need to get a better CPU cooler in case your ambient temps will prevent good CPU cooling...

How about i5-2500K? How much does it cost?

Also, are you planning to add another graphics card later (SLI)?

my country's weather is a lil bit hot but i got the air conditioner on most of the time well maybe ill get a cooler next summer cos weather is gonna be cold in the upcoming monthes wont really need a cooler besides next year it will cost less the 2500k costs 33.5 USDs more and im not planning to add another card

Edit:I was planing to run BF3 maxed out at what resolution can i do that when i have like 30-40 fps and btw i used to play crysis warhead on a 512 mb ram Geforce 6200 so im used to trash in games im currently playing ghost recon aw2 on mobile intel 4 series chipset family(trash gpu)

Another Edit:Just checked BF3 blog and some other famous system requirments site they both ve listed the gtx 460 as the minimum for max settings no aiming for crysis 3 maybe i would be able to run it on medium settings well who knows it ll be using DirectX12 maybe ill get another gpu on that time 2 years l8er i mean

Since you'll be running 1600x900, you'll manage to pull off better settings than they say, 'cause they're talking about 1920x1080, usually. If you can try and squeeze i5-2500k into your budget, that'd be great.

Since you're not planning to add another card, your motherboard is just fine.

I'm also used to trash in games... I was gaming on Intel 945GM 128MB for 3 years, lol. So I understand you... If you play around with settings, you can achieve a lot. Toggle V-Sunc, disable shadows... it'll be fine.

i would play BF3 at any res just to make it work on max settings my current monitor is 1 of those whitie monitors with 800x600 max res its was manufactured in the 90s yea and thnx for your help

Edit:i think i can get the 2500k ill jus use my old DVDDrive and old speakers its a creative SBS380 so u think i should go for it

well afterall i dont think i can cos i still need mouse and keyboard besides by the time the 2400 wouldnt be able to run games at high performance the 2500k will be cheap and not worth buying anyway
