Hello, I have amd phenom 2 x4 955 be on gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4 ddr2 800mhz 6gb and
ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series before I hade geforce gt 630 and when I upgraded to this new video card when I run games on max graphic my pc turns off and screen goes black I think it's restarting but it wont start before I unflug cable, I thinck cpu is overheating because when I reduced voltage and cpu speed with amd overdrive it was stable but when I restart pc overdrive resets settings so I want to reduce voltage and cpu speed from bios and I want to know best settings to stay stable like on 3.0 2.9 2.8 2.7 2.6 2.5 now I'm on 3.2 and bios says it's auto and when I switch to manual want to know evey setting, hope you will help

It doesn't matter what color the connector is as long as it is the correct one and it fits the card's 6 pin header.
Did you ever try the old card with the CPU set back to default voltage?

I was thinking maybe the PSU was under power. But with 2 x 24 amp +12V rails rated at 500W capacity, it should be sufficient. But that doesn't mean it is good quality. That make is one I've never heard of. Does it have a 6 pin connector for the card or are you using an adapter?

The usual reason a PC will shut down or re-boot under load is due to the PSU. Low power, can't maintain the voltage, can't regulate the voltage, etc. If the CPU has to be under-clocked to get the PC to start, chances are you have a PSU issue or a motherboard issue. If you still have the old card, uninstall the new card, re-install the old card and see if you can get the system to fail again. If not, I'd replace the PSU with a better make.

it came with this two connectors: http://cdn.agilitycms.com/xfx/pcie_pwr_adapter.jpg ok I will do that thank you very much for answer I will post what will happen, and also can it be cooler problem ? also I lowered voltage from 1.35 to 1.2000 and it lowered temepratiure little will it be problem ?
Update: No didn't had problem with old video card everything was fine on it but, when I lower graphic on new video card during games it doesn't turn of computer but when I have graphics high computer screen just goes black I hear restart sound but it does nothing I have tu unplug pc and turn it over again

That is an adapter that comes with the gfx card. Don't use that. Look in the bundle of extra cables that your PSU has for a connector with the 6 pin end on it. If your PSU doesn't have one, get rid of the PSU or the card. It isn't designed to run the card if it doesn't have the 6 pin in its collection of cables..

you mean that adapters that came with it bad for my video card ? and PSU must have exact connectors I mean power supply must have his own connectors to go into thi video card ?

No, not necessarily. The adapter, if connected properly using 2 x Molex connectors from different rails, will work. But your PSU will have the 6pin PCIe connector wired to the correct rail for balanced load. If however, your PSU has no 6 pin connector, it is NOT intended for powering that class of card.
