[citation][nom]falchard[/nom]I agree, they should celebrate the release of Bulldozer by sending Intel a Bulldozer.[/citation]
Lolz... oh man, that'd be fantastic.

They can keep their cute jokes. I'll keep my Sandy Bridge and my "defective" Sabertooth motherboard that absolutely destroys any AMD processor out there. 4.8 ghz with auto voltage settings FTFW!!!

That's so awesome, I also love reading all of these comments poking fun at us AMD users/fans, when really this is just for a bit of fun and some of you have taken this way out of proportion.

AMD better have something big prepared to do this to Intel.

[citation][nom]someguynamedmatt[/nom]Lol... gotta love AMD...[/citation]
DELL is going to buy them out...what a great company it used to be...now not so much

[citation][nom]Anomalyx[/nom]Prediction 1: the AMD in question is a slightly slower per-core clock speed than the Intel, and the test was single-threaded.Prediction 2: the AMD was a heck of a lot cheaper than the IntelPrediction 3: Intel will continue to NOT sell GOOD processors for CHEAP, and I will continue to buy AMD as a result[/citation]

Sandy B is cheap now. considering their big performance leap of their previous generations.

Give me a break fanboys! I'm a huge AMD fan, but you can't argue that isn't kicking their asses, regardless of their SB snafu. I'd still never give Intel my money directly, but I can't disregard their dominance.

Oh I'm sorry that you don't do anything that NEEDS the power, however many of us do, and we use it to its full potential.

Give it a break, check Tom’s CPU Hierarchy charts, Intel always has an entire tier over AMD.

I’m no fan boy, I recommend AMD all day long, hell two of my best friends I built gaming computers for I had them get AMD, but you can’t ignore benchmarks and tests. If you NEED the speed and you NEED the power you better get Intel. Simple as that.

Yeah, the SB error was a big one, but do you think AMD has gone without faults?

How about you give us something worth a s($% AMD, cause currently you are WAY WAY WAY behind.

I'm no fanboi of Intel or AMD, but the joke is on AMD.....BY FAR.

Even the last gen of Intel CPUs (1156) is WAY beyond ANYTHING AMD has to offer.

Would the faster binned chocolate taste better than the slower binned chocolate?

Is it dark chocolate for servers, normal chocolate for desktop CPU's and perhaps diet / milk chocolate for mobiles.

This whole analogy bears some serious investigation ...

i love the intel fanboys hatin comments like ooo we just got buttraped so we gotta hate
thuban is win, sandy bridge is shit, the new chipset is coming; get ready get ready get ready, cuz amd is about to cost you another 5 billion intel. and this time it wont be spent on an ad that goes nationwide and sounds like this..:
this is what you pay for intel fanboys: this is where the extra money went:
"DA.... DA DA DA DA"
that truly is worth it. just ask sandy bridge.

[citation][nom]lradunovic77[/nom]AMD -> They better work on their crappy products, cause their 6 core is slower than Intel 4 core. I think Intel is having laugh at them.[/citation]
Not really my oced 1090t i bought back in April of last year. Ties with the brand new 2600k in most bench marks. In apps that take advantage of the 6 cores it really flies! It is slower then the 980x in non gaming situations... but it does cost $800 less. So it works for me : )

Yet their 6 core is alot cheaper than their quad cores
