What series is a AMD Promontory is it a 300 or 400 series chipset?
I was looking to buy https://www.pccasegear.com/products...ce-rgb-pro-16gb-2x8gb-2666mhz-cl16-ddr4-white
RAM and it says it compatible with 300 and 400 chipset series.

That memory should work fine with series 300, 400, and 500 chipsets.
