I've always used Nvidia graphics cards until now. I recently upgraded my 6 year old 8800 gt to a r9 270, a long overdue upgrade I know.... With Nvidia it was always super easy to get my drivers. Their website would tell me exactly what driver to get after scanning my system and seeing what gpu I had. I went to amd's website and downloaded a driver that seems to be working fine. But one of my programs didn't recognize my driver and says I don't have a certified driver. My gpu was made by gigabyte. If anybody can tell me where to get my driver and which one I would really appreciate it. Thanks

You can get the drivers on the AMD website. The only reason it would say that the driver isn't certified is because the AMD beta drivers aren't WHQL singed (which is just a silly $700 certification by microsoft).

The exact driver you would want to get is the Catalyst Control Center 14.9 stable release (which is WHQL signed)

Thank you all for your answers. I have a question though... What difference will it make to my system now that I've upgraded to the latest driver? Will I see new features or a better fps in games?
