AMD R9 280X Artifacts?

Hello.

I have an AMD R9 280X MSI Twin Frozr OC Edition GPU and I notice that sometimes I have a few problems, similar to artifacts. Sometimes, when playing, I have a black bar showing up on the bottom on the screen that immediately goes away, which reminds me of the screen effect that happens when I change the resolution of my screen, for example.

I also sometimes have my cursor suddenly morph into a couple of small black bars and then back normal.

I've had this particularly with 14.1 and 14.2 drivers. I've ran DDU between driver installs.

EDIT:

Extra system information:

CPU: Intel Core i5 750
Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D-E
RAM: 12GB Mixed-RAM (No bother, had these issues even with the same kind of DIMMs)
PSU: 750W Antec TruePower

If any extra information is needed, I'll gladly handle that.

Maximum temp I've got was about 70ºC. I really don't want to think that the issue is entirely due to the GPU because I've already been on a rampage of switching GPUs. Went to one vendor, got an ASUS one, artifacts, traded, artifacts, went to the store, decided to just get my money, went to another seller, got an MSI one, had issues, traded, and here I am.

I'll update OP with additional system information.

As I now mention in the OP, I have 4 DIMMs, and they're actually different (2 are Kingston and 2 are G.Skill), but, I've had these issues even when using only the Kingston modules, and I've ran memtest with all 4 modules with no errors.

What exactly should I be looking for?

EDIT: Also, I must add that this is one of my most stable GPUs from that rampage I talked about. The other GPUs gave really intense artifacting and whatnot, especially while doing intensive activities (namely cryptocurrency mining). It would even, sometimes crash the driver. With this one, I have nothing like that, but, I still have these sort-of minor issues that I'd love to have ironed out.

By the way, thanks for the help, really appreciated. :)

Checked my motherboard, it doesn't seem to have anything like that on the capacitors, they are pristine.

My PSU is sealed, so, I don't think I can really check for that.

Also, if the issue remains, do you believe it's just best to return my card and maybe wait for the 800 series from nVidia? My biggest concern, right now about leaving AMD is no efficient mining for Crypto, but apparently Maxwell looks good for that.

I re-installed Windows and still had the same problems I mentioned (just happened again as I was writing, actually), so, what can I do now? Just blame the GPU now?

"Another good idea might be to try your card in a friend of yours computer, then you can slowly figure out which part is causing the problem!
Hope it helps man"
Try your ram in one of your friends PC, try the PSU, try the motherboard, troubleshoot mate.

Don't have a PC to test stuff on, really. Plus, over here, we sort of got a return policy, but my time is running out (ends in two days), so, I also don't really have the time to test it.

I think I'll just give up for now, and wait for the nVidia 800 Series. Might have a better luck then. If not, it's most likely the rest of my system, and I'll probably just switch it out completely then (if I switch either the Mobo or the CPU, I'll have to switch both either way, so, it's the whole system).
