AMD R9 290 60 fps ?

Hello I have ordered two AMD R9 290's (not 290x) and I was wondering if it would be able to run games on a 4k monitor at 60fps and above? For example could it run GTA V at 60 fps?

what are your other system components? If you have a good processor in lines of 4690k or above, decent RAM and a SSD.. then I think you should be able to get frame rates close to 60 fps...

I have an amd fx-9590 CPU and corsair vengeance 16gb ram and a 1tb sshd and I'm not sure what xf'd means ? Could you explain

I had a fairly low budget and there was a good deal on Amazon for the CPU but yes they'd be crossfired

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/gta_v_pc_graphics_performance_review,6.html the 295x2 can't run a consistent 60fps, it can't even average 60fps and it is more powerful then cf 290's. If you run with no AA at 4k not a huge deal, but you will also need to dial down settings to achieve 60fps

Ok thank you disturbed force but I wouldn't need AA it doesn't bother me that much but do you think medium-high on some settings with no AA would be ok ?

For GTA V I think you would be good medium/high with no AA, I have 290x cf and run 4k but don't own GTA V yet so I can't say for sure. Another thing is Rockstar will likely come out with some updates to improve performance in the future.
