I'm looking at OCing my GPU but I cant find a good guide and just me playing around has yielded zero results.

I have the Vapor-X R9 290

Overall Im just tryin to pump out a few more frames for games like FO4, R6: Seige, ect

Im also looking at OCing my CPU to help with streaming.

System is
CPU = AMD FX-8350 @ 4Ghz (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284)
RAM = Coursir Vengence 16GB (4 x 4GB) @ 1333MHz (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233248)
MoBo = GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990FX (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128514)

Thanks!

So thats why I cant get anywhere with it. What would you suggest for fixing this issue OR for my next build sometime next Tax season a way to avoid this problem.

can you overclock your cpu?

I actually was just messing with that a bit ago, went and look up a few guides and vids for the 8350, but while i was in the bios i couldn't change any of the advanced setting, I looked around and could change a few options but nothing to directly change the cpu, all were set to auto and could change them.

I know I messed my self over with this RAM, for the 1866MHz speed i should have got only a 2 stick setup (I know for next time)

Yeah! Got it to 4.5 ATM
Found out all I had to do was start typing in numbers, thats why I could change the auto box lol

I have the CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i, so maybe I can go a bit higher.

Question is it better to change the CPU Multiplayer or the FSB? (seen different ways in some different guides)

multiplier. fsb over-clocks every component relying on that and can make it more unstable
