amd r9 290 vs Nvidia gtx780

I am really having hard time deciding. The r9 290 sapphire model retails for $500 in australia whereas the gtx780 Asus direct cu II would cost me around $600 (Imported via amazon)

which one of them would be better option here? I plan to keep this gpu for about 1-2 years

black friday will be the 29th of november... the day after the united states Thanksgiving. by the hopefully there are a bunch of aftermarket video cards and we will have gained knowledge about both video cards.

Just going to let you know mate. Amazon doesn't ship about 95% of there items to Australia. which sucks. so you might need to look else where, maybe try PC Case Gear.

they do ship some of their items, video cards happen to be one of them. I already checked and received a quote on shipping.
