Question AMD Radeon 5700 XT Issues

My GPU seems to get really wonky while playing games if i don't manually set the frequency to stay at 1290. If i leave it on automatic, games tend to start to "not respond" at random times and then crash. I also get screens like this (see attached picture) and then i have to hold the power button to turn off my PC because i cant see anything. After i do that and turn it back on, it restarts like 4-5 times until it finally fully boots up. I have a very new PC with an AMD Radeon 5700 XT GPU and a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU.

full system spec? include make and model of the psu
cpu/gpu temp during the issue?

I'm not sure the temp as the screen goes wonky. Usually the temps are pretty good, it seems to crash mostly when i have two instances of WoW going or multiple games at once but the computer should be able to handle that.
