According to this chart, the HD6770 is not even close the a HD5770 "Re-brand".

The HD6770 has much better specifications. Look at the bandwidth differences. Gpu is BARTS not JUNIPER.

Obviously XFX/Best Buy decided to sell this before there were even drivers released for it
yeah theyre talking about the 6850 and 6870, must have been before release because if they ARE the 6750 and 6770 then they have the exact same specs as the 6850 and 6870

Hey the Video Cards are getting a little smaller!! +1 for the whole card not being one giant block some some people *cough* nvidia *cough*.

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Radeon. They cover 2 concerns for me Price and Power usage. There the AMD of the Video Card world.

Looking at those charts, it looks like for anyone not unwilling to reduce settings a little, the HD6670 can play any game, even at the 1920x1080 resolutions likely used for HTPC displays.

Now if only developers would focus on gameplay, replayability, and story, and not just on gee-whiz graphics...

8.1" long GTX560's are a giant block?

Can we expect anything out of the upcoming GT 540, Nvidia has consistently failed to provide descent performance cards in this segment..however that may change looking at the 500 series which is a 400 series overhaul has shown some remarkable improvements !

i wonder if the Crossfire results here will match the Hybrid Crossfire results when paired with the upcoming Llano APU.

There is a "2" missing before the "7" on HD5670 HQV 2.0 Benchmark -» Test Class 4: Adaptive Processing section...

[citation][nom]Philly14[/nom]Could I run the 6570 on a PSU with 220W? Specifically the EMachines EL1352-23e.[/citation]

Hard to say. But if your CPU is a low-power model it would probably work.

I'm looking to add a graphics card to my htpc to help with video encoding, which is why I stumbled on this site. Good review, but can I suggest you recognize the market segment these cards belong to and do appropriate benchmarks for that (h264 encoding, sound playback, power, heat, and silence). Doing a bunch of gaming and 3D benchmarks is so 10 years ago.

We don't care for these cards.
