Hi all,
I have a computer with 2 AMD Radeon HD 6950 connected as crossfire.
Until today i have worked with an old 20" screen which was connected with DVI on the primary card. I decided to treat myself with 2 new 24" screens.
I tried to connect the first screen with HDMI to the primary - Not detected
I tried connecting to the secondary card HDMI - Not Detected.
I connected to the primary card DVI - Works.
I connected the second screen to the secondary card HDMI - Not detected
I connected the second screen to the primary card HDMI - Works.
So both screens work when one's connected to the primary's card DVI and the second to the primary's HDMI.
Once i tried to setup on windows the screens and i pressed "Detect" the screen which connected to the HDMI got disconnected and i get "no signal"
I'm frustrated.
Now, when 2 display cards are connected by crossfire, can i connect each screen to a different card?
Why the screen didn't detect the HDMI?
Why the screen got disconnected?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
