AMD radeon hd 7850 texture bug/glitch

Idk what it is, the game runs so smooth (Arma 3 and DayZ Standalone), and then all of a sudden the graphics become horribly ugly and my FPS drops to an unbearably low number (2-8Fps) when i run from 40-60 fps. i have tried re installing drivers taking out graphics card and putting it back in, idk what to do and im about done

MSI radeon hd 7850 2GB OC edition
Intel i3 3220-T 2.8GhZ
8 DDR3 1600 ram

Please help, anything will do

are you OCing your card?? maybe you are OCing it too much.. too much OC would lead to artifacts, lag frames, freeze screen, auto restart or worse (fried gpu)

i have not OC, but it is a OC edition card, know how to down grade it?

we'll if you are using it on stock i think it might be hardware related. just RMA it then.

as for the underclock you could use msi afterburner to lower the frequency of your gpu.

RMA? im sorry im a bit of a noob and im installing MSI afterburner now, it might work

return it from the retailer and get a replacement GPU with the same model. you don't need to underclock just to fix your issue. if you are not overclocking then artifacts appear it might be hardware related so your best bet is to return it and get a replacement.
