the single heat pipe is routed throughout the fin stack in S-shaped pattern. the middle(-ish) part flows directly above the gpu die. gigabyte's hs can't have another heatpipe due to this.
msi's card has two heat pipes.

In fact, based on initial reviews, you can even say that the R7 265 is a 750ti killer, assuming: (1) R7 265 actually comes in at the MSRP of $150 and (2) AMD hasn't thoroughly confused this segment of the market with it's awkward new naming convention and complicated line-up.

They may just have. Read this page of the 750ti review. For GPUs, Bitcoin mining is not relevant, so you can ignore the top section. But for script mining, the Maxwell architecture looks promising.

Yea, the GTX 750ti will be a budget rig king since a less expensive power supply can be used. It will be nice for Mini-ITX builds too.

Yea, the GTX 750ti will be a budget rig king since a less expensive power supply can be used. It will be nice for Mini-ITX builds too.

750ti will probably rule for upgrades to factory PCs (i.e. Dell, HP, etc). But from a custom build standpoint, it's almost moot at this point until we see some better designed cases and power supplies to take advantage of this form factor.

If you think 160W can power a 750ti based rig, then there is always the Pico PSU, but right now the smallest case to handle a single-slot, full-height GPU would be a Lian-Li PC-Q03, which is EOL. Besides the Pico, then the next smallest PSU I have ever installed has been the FSP Group 300W SFX, which with a simple PCIE adapter can handle anything up to an R7-265.

I'd love to see a low profile 750ti - that would be a game changer IMO.

If they can launch at or below the supposed $150 line, that could finally inspire me to make an ITX build instead of getting the PS4 in a few months. Near 7850 performance without the noise, heat, and power? You would have a near silent gaming "console" for the TV room.

Because I was bored, a full system below. It came out to 228w. 😀 Overall, it would be a pretty quiet rig with good airflow, since I chose to go with a m-sata drive and a laptop 1tb for storage. With the CM 130, the laptop drive could fit in the 2.5" bay under the 5.25" bay. Like I said, I was bored. :lol: I went with the Xeon over an i5 since the Xeon has a slightly lower TDP. An i3 would drop it down to like 202w.

Well im really satisfied with r9 270 40 fps on ultra in battlefield for 144 pounds when 44 pounds cost battlefield 4 which came with a card is really the best bang for a buck, at least in UK. Check scan.co.uk

make a mining program for ps4 (or xbone(R)). jailbreak if necessary. 8 core cpu, 8 gigs of gddr5 (32mb esram and 8 gig ddr3 for xbone(R)) and over 1k shaders!!! all under $400 with blower type cooling!!
