Depends on how much it weights, probably less than 7990/690/Titan Z due to not having massive metal heatsinks on the card itself.

Why when there are ASICs that will push more power than 4 of these could? There are ones coming with 16MH/s, that's 16 times what a single 290X can do, and soon after there looks to be 100MH/s which would be 100x that of a single R9 290X.

GPUs are dead for Litecoins. Sure there are other coins but they are still pretty worthless right now.

Yes, considering this was published on April the 1st....

EDIT: Now I think about it, the stock R9-290x draws up to 225W even though a stock R9-290X throttles like crazy. If the fan speed's been turned up to prevent this, it can get as high as 300W!.

So, in a nutshell, either this was an April 1st story, or they're going to have to underclock even harder than the GTX 590 did.

Someone with the cash and rig to get one of this, must already have a decent case that supports more than 6 120mm fans, so no problem at all.
