[SOLVED] AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT - AMD Driver Crashes On All Games

Merry Christmas Everyone,

Windows 11
Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO (CEC) ARGB
Power Supply: 750 Watt
Storage: 1TB WD Blue SN550 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
Memory: 16 GB DDR4-3600
Video Card: AMD Radeon RX 6700XT - 12 GB

I am new to building computers and somewhat comfortable but not overly fluent. I included anything I thought pertinent to the problem. I bought this computer as an early Christmas present for myself and unfortunately I'm having some issues. Every time I open either the game New World or World of Warcraft (WoW was used to see if the problem was specific to New World) my driver crashes. I am completely updated both with Windows 11 and with my driver. I have tried previous driver versions with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have checked the integrity of the game files, updated and downgraded driver, checked for any system updates, changed in-game graphics to low, altered my VRAM, and deleted specific game files.

The error I most frequently get is:
-AMD software detected that a driver timeout has occurred on your system. An issue report has been created that can be sent to AMD to help us improve our software. Would you like to report this issue?

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday.

considering that Windows 11 is more of a beta version that users are testing/troubleshooting for Microsoft i would start with that.
latest AMD driver package(21.12.1 ) works fine with my TUF RX 6700 XT on Windows 10.

you can try removing all graphics related drivers, files, and settings with DDU and then reinstalling fresh.
if that offers no relief i would be looking into either performing a disk wipe and fresh install of 11 or going back to 10 and staying there for a while.

Try an older driver, if you're using a 21.12 try a 21.11 or the newest windows certified driver.

Having a similar issue with my 6900xt, on win 10. Works great in most games but bf 2042 gets that error. If I do a fresh boot it rarely happens, after wakeup from sleep it it happens every time.

Going to 21.11.3 helped a lot but still do a fresh boot if I'm gaming

No luck on reverting back to Windows 10, having the exact same issue. I have tried different versions of drivers to no avail. Kind of at a loss at this point.
