been running bf3 in eyefinity @ 6036x1080 w/ no probs on 11.9 driver. Going to update to 11.10, but it may be another issue some are experiencing?

Actually with display port 1.2 on the newer HD6k cards, u can do close to 6 screens with just one card, with display port splitters of course.

Here's the article about it

If DP 1.2 can do 6 screens at once from the miniDP ports with the help of a DP splitter, then what is the point of having this driver?!
This driver states you can do Eyefinity with 5 screens and the way I see it means you can run up to 5 screens on a single card without the aid of additional devices. HD5000 series can only go 3 screens in Eyefinity while HD6000 series can only do 4.
Too bad THG did show you guys the for setup for that 5x1 with the latest CCC 11.10

Yep, that "OMG I can run five screens now, that is so uber awesome" demo is using a HD6990 as it can support 5 direct screens at once!
4x mini DP and 1x DVI= 5 screens in Eyefinity with no DP splitters!
See if any of you can do that to your HD6850/6870/6950/6970, bet none of you can't which makes my post (got rated down) still stands.

Anyone who want to do 5x1 (without DP splitters) may need to wait for the HD7000 series without breaking their wallets.

Actually the bezel feature is probably a lot more used in the real world than crossfire. You're forgetting all the workstations at different businesses which run multiple monitors for productivity. I can tell you we have hundreds such workstations on site at my workplace, and the company doesn't care jack about how good 3d gaming is on those computers.

That being said I'm not arguing against your gripes with the crossfire support. Most people who post here are enthusiasts and gamers, and sadly ATI/AMD have always seemed a bit slow with their drivers to appease us. Personally I only buy nVidia due to much better experience with drivers. Right now only one of my computers at home runs an AMD card and I don't use it for gaming.

I wish they would add an option in Catalyst control to setup a master FOV setting. It would be easier to curve the display if all I had to do was set an override to 180 degrees.

bezels aren't really that big of a deal when gaming.

I've said this before and I know because I also ran Eyefinity and run nVidia 2D Surround now.
the human brain will train the eyes and it will fade the bezels out especially if aligned correctly using the bezel adjustment feature.
it's more apparent in Landscape view than in Portrait that this takes effect however it still happens regardless..

Hopefully this will fix some of the BF3 issues that I (and many others) have been having. Of course they could actually just be BF3 issues and not driver problems.
