Hi ,

My pc recently had an issue where it would crash during playing heavy games , would just restart and have no display . anyone I posted alot about it in forums and tried a heck ton of solutions but nothing worked , even changed to a brand new 1050watt gold plus psu a very good brand but still the same issue . I tired lots of solutions already that people suggested.

the reason for this post is that today i was just checking and found out that my gpu 6900xt merc 319 it has a default 2340mhz boost clock , Whilst my one has default 2599mhz , I tried clean reinstalling the drivers but still stayed at 2599 , So i wanted to ask that maybe this thing is causing the issue ?

if yes then how should i fix it ? Should i just set the maz clock to the default shown online as in 2340mhz and what else should i do ?

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

You state changing to a new PSU, what is the make and model of said new PSU and what was the older PSU's make, model and age?

For the sake of relevance, what did you try so we're not going back and forth on suggestions that didn't work for you?

Techpowerup has 3 different BIOS for that card, boost clock defaults of 2365 and 2495 for the "Limited Black" edition.

But that is just the default clocks, the boost algorithm can certainly go higher than that if power and temperature allow.

2700-2800Mhz is apparently common.

You card also has two vBIOS, you should be able to switch between them if you haven't tried that.

You can also try underclocking a little to see if that helps, both the GPU and GPU memory speeds can be adjusted. I would do that just as a test.

actually I didnt want to discuss all that again so i didnt mention all the specs I just added that for context , the main body of my message started from " The reason for this post ..."
