Hi im building a new pc and I just wanted to know if this config is ok with the ryzen 2600 for now as I will change some parts later as it is out of my budget to do so now
my config:
ryzen 5 2600
2x crucial 2133mhz 4gb ram
lc power bronze 350 watt psu
Gigabyte B450M DS3H
stock cooler
gt 730 gpu
is this config ok?
and also i already own these: ram psu and gpu

Is Gigabyte B450M DS3H a good motherboard? and is it good enough for the ryzen 5 2600? as I saw somebody that said that these motherboards are bad

Hey there,

Look, to call a spade a spade here, your system is a little imbalanced.

I guess it depends on what you want to do with it, game, standard desktop stuff. Please elaborate.

First things first though. Get rid of that PSU. It's a piece of junk and will only cause you problems with your setup. It might not even be enough to power your new system. Get a decent 550w gold unit. Something from EVGA G2/G3, Seasonic Focus Plus Gold, or if on a tighter budget a Corsair RMx or something. The PSU is practically THE most important component. You don't want to fry new parts with a piece of crap.

Your ram, is at the default clock for DDR4. This will really hamper you performance in major ways. The difference between 2133mhz and lets say a conservative 3000mhz (2933) is huge, with almost a 25%+ difference in performance, task dependant. You are literally hobbling the system with such slow ram. My advice, buy a 2 x 8gb matched kit of 3000mhz ram, and offset the cost by selling your current ram.

The mobo itself will be fine for the CPU. Just don't go expecting to OC the CPU or memory much, and specially so with your current PSU, which is really not adequate for your build in anyway.

Your GPU is really weak, and barely entry level now. If you plan to game, forget about it. It will be low settings, thats even if the games will run on it. The FPS will be so bad. For any other standard desktop stuff, word, browsing, watching youtube, it will do just fine.

Tbf the 2600 isn’t a great overclocker. Have mine on an X570 with an 8 phase VRM AMD I cant get it past 4.1 atm

Personally I would look for a better motherboard and a Better PSU.
That Gigabyte MB will work But it will not be very good for OCing the 2600 and it doesn't have many features.
That 350W PSU is probably strong enough to power your upgraded parts, BUT if it is anywhere near it's warranty I would NOT trust it.
Those are the 2 most important parts of your PC, if you cheap out on either of those you are building on a shaky foundation.
If you but a higher wattage (450W to 650W) quality PSU and MB ($100 to $120) now you will be able to put a faster CPU, GPU and RAM in it in a few years.

I have an Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming that I ran a 2600 OC'd to 4 GHz on that I can absolutely recommend.
Also, just FYI, my 2600 OC'd was hitting as high as 120W at times.
At stock it was pulling around 80-90 Watts under load.
But any decent mid level B450 Motherboard should be fine.
And the SeaSonic M12II 520 Bronze EVO Edition 520W seems to be a pretty good quality, affordable PSU.

I will upgrade components like ram psu and gpu I just wanted to know if its ok to use it as it is as I want to get my brother a decent pc for adobe photoshop and adobe lightroom for now. But no gaming or overclocking so is this setup ok for photo editing? And also I will change ram for 3000mhz and get a better psu and also get a gtx 1050 installed.

If he’s using adobe premier you’ll want to go intel. Literally the only thing they’re good for atm

Which one is better?
Gigabyte B450M DS3H or
Asus Prime B450M-K or
Asus Prime B450M-A or
Asus TUF B450M-Plus Gaming (this one might be a bit out of my budget so if its the best one then say which one should I get out of the other 3 incase I wouldnt been able to afford this one)

Cpu : ok
Ram : Too Low performance
Psu : Not Ok at all
Mobo : ok
Cooler : ok
Gpu : Too old (Entry level)

1st of all you need to specify the Usage for your PC.What exactly you want to do with PC.
I would Always prefer Faster Rams.Atlease 2x8gb 3000mhz for dual channel
Psu is Very bad.If you are Tight on Budget then go for thermaltake lite power 450W
Gpu is Very old Entry level.I do not prefer it

If you are really tight on Budget then you Can go for Ryzen 5 3400g or 2400g...it has integrated Gpu much better then yours.
I am using ryzen 5 2400g.2x8gb 3200mhz ram , Msi B450 pro,Thermaltake lite power 450W, Stock cooler..
and i can Play PUBG lite @60FPS on High + ultra Mix Settings.
Fortnite on 60fps high + medium Mix settings

The Corsair VS series PSU are NOT good PSU's.

The be quiet Pure Power 10 500W looks fairly decent:

The Gigabye P650B looks pretty good:

ok thanks for the answer you really helped me out alot oh and one more question should I save some money and buy this mobo? Asus TUF B450M-Plus Gaming instead of the gigabyte B450M DS3H

I would personally choose the Asus over the gigabyte B450M DS3H because it has Much better VRM.
The VRM on the TUF B450M-Plus Gaming is actually a step up from the VRM on my ROG Strix B450-F Gaming and my B450-F ran the 2600 (OC'd to 4 GHz) very well.
