Hello everyone, I am a FX Artist, so my work demands high usage of RAM.
Currently My Rig is :

Amd Ryzen 5 1600
Msi Gaming Plus B350 Motherboard
Corsair Value Select 8GB DDR4 ram 2400Mhz

I want my RAM to be upgraded, my mobo supports RAM upto 64gb but I don't have any idea that my processor would be able to handle that much of RAM or not.

So please do tell me would my processor support 64gb of ram??

Thanks.

Solution
Yes, but don't forget. With Ryzen 1.0 and B350 mobo's, the max speed with 4 dimms populated is 2666. With two dimms you can get between 2933-3200 dimm/mobo dependant

Don't buy 3200mhz dimms. You will not get full rated speeds with 4 dimms populated. You will just be wasting cash. Get 2666 speeds dims with low timings.
16 GB per stick x 4 sticks = max ram you can use.
if you need more, get optane 118 GB drive and set it up as pagefile. it will be ~10x slower than your RAM, but its still great for tasks that need more than most. (remember that AMD loves fast ram, 3000 is must)
if you want 128 GB ram go for threadripper(prepare ~3000$).

If you are really doing serious rendering complex and/or big projects:
I would go at least with Ryzen 7 2xxx+X470.
You will need those extra threads and extra speed from faster RAM.
If you still need more threads and more RAM, you can only go with Threadripper platform e.g. 1950x.
