I currently have Ryzen 3 2200G and, because of a jacked-up Ebay seller, the stock cooler. I don't even game, just have a few webpages and documents open simultaneously, and it shuts down at least 3 times a week! Can you recommend a good horizontal cooler for my RYZEN 5 2400G (I don't like the looks of the vertical but I know they're better)? Thanks!

Solution
How much you wanna spend? The Dark Rock Pro TF is amongst the best out there with a 220W TDP but is pricey. They also do shadow rock and maybe Pure rock versions too but they don’t come in a sexy black finish.
Noctua NH-L12 Low Profile Multi Socket CPU Cooler

Although the stock cooler should be fine.

If your computer is shutting down, it may not be due to the cooler.

How much thermal paste did you use when you mounted the stock cooler?

I assume you are not over clocking.

No what was on the cooler will be sufficient, you don't want too much paste.

Are you sure that the cooler is the problem? Are you monitoring temperatures?

Have you run a full memory test (memtest86) followed by a CPU stress test (Prime95).
Keep an eye on temperatures while running stress tests.

Have you uploaded the latest BIOS?

Do you have updated drivers?

Do you have good case airflow.

Let's not assume that its the cooler just yet.
