Same laptops, Lenovo S340, a 15.6 lenovo with 256 SSD and 8 gigs of ram.
the Ryzen 5 version has a touch screen and IPS screen and is $420
the Intel I5 version has a non touch, TN screen which is HORRIBLE and is $420,
Which is the better computer overall for the price? Will the Ryzen 3500U be slower on day to day stuff than the intel 8265U? I have the Intel version right now and its super fast/snappy but I have a 14 day return policy and the TN screen SUCKS and no colors look how they are supposed to and the viewing angles are horrible!. If the prices are the same, $420 out the door after tax, which is the better deal? The Intel with TN non touch display or the AMD with an IPS touch screen? Also can someone explain to me even though the Ryzen 5 3500U compares more to an Intel I3 on benchmark scores, how is it a direct competitor or better(which some people are saying) to the intel 8265u if the intel is that much faster? or is the difference negligible?
