[SOLVED] AMD Ryzen 5 3600 to motherboard Gigabyte A520M S2H

Hello . i am planing to buy new procesor and motherboard. the procesori want is ryzen 5 3600. Will it work good on Gigabyte A520M S2H? what does A450 and B450 mean? can somebody explain these markings?what about asus prime B450M-K motherboard?

B450,X570,A520,A320,B550 are RYZEN cpu chipset's.
A320-the absolute minimum requirement for a RYZEN cpu,come in mATX form factor,often with only 2 DIMM (RAM) slots,1 PCIe x16 slot (GPU slot),cant overclock. Often support only 1st and 2gb ryzen cpu's,but some support 3rd gen,poor ram speed support.
B450-medium range chipset,come in mATX,miniITx,ATX form factor,often come with 4 DIMM slots,often with 2 PCIe x16 slots,can overclock. support 1st,2nd,3rd gen,some high-end b450 boards support 5th gen cpu's,solid ram speed support
B550-high end chipset ,come in mATX and ATX form factor,come with 4DIMM slots,2 PCIe x 16 slots,have better overclocking support than b450,support only 3rd and 5th gen cpu's,good ram speed support
X570-the highest end chipset,come in miniITX,mATX,ATX form factor,ussually come with 4DIMM slots,2 (some even 3 ) PCIe x 16 slots,often the best chipset for overclocking,support 2nd,3rd and 5th gen ryzen cpu's,the best ram speed support
A520- 'better' version of A320,come in miniITX,mATX,ATX form factor,ussually come with 2DIMM slots,ussually 1 PCIe x 16 slot,cant overclock,support 2nd,3rd and 5th gen cpu's,decent ram speed support.
Generally for 3600,i would either recommend a high end B450 board like this one,or a B550 board.
The B450M-K is a really good motherboard for this cpu.

Not really, PCIe v4 is about only advantage for Zen2/Zen3 on 500 series chipset MBs. For anything more you need Zen3 processor (5000 series). Other advantage could be (more or less, depending on date of production) out of box compatibility with Zen3 processors but most 400 chipset MBs already have compatible BIOS to download and flash it.

Do i need to update bios on asus prime B450M-K motherboard? Can i just when i motherboard and cpu put it in and will it work? I also have gygybyte AMD B450 S2H for the same price as asus prime B450M-K. Which one is better ?

No, it should work with 3600 as it is.
