[SOLVED] AMD ryzen 5600x wont work on b550 tomahawk

i have recently got into PC's (so i don't have any other CPU's) and it mentions something about BIOS update and was wondering what i needed to do to fix this and how i would do it? this is the error message that appears on PCpartspicker:

• Some AMD B550 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Cezanne CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

is this a fixable problem or will i have to change my cpu or motherboard?

Can you list your exact model of motherboard please? Different vendors have varying ways of updating a BIOS. We can give you better advice at that point.
