My interest in visiting this site was to see how Ryzen is doing, compared to i7 7700k, when in comes to Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, 3ds Max, and other creative suits.
After reading this article I have come to conclusion that for what I need 7700k is better, however I heard tomshardware had biased reviews so I kept searching. I stumbled upon these results, translated from Serbian to English:
What do you have to say about it ?

Tom's Hardware is biased in favor of running a series of tests and writing about the actual results of those tests. There has been a big uproar by members of the community who think the test should have been specifically configured to help AMD win, but that would be bias. I've heard that post-launch optimizations are completely changing AMD's standing in some benchmarks...months after this was written.

Updated review confirmed? :D

Cheers! :p

Jacob Terkelsen is working on adding updated benchmarks to his AMD Motherboard reviews, but he doesn't have the Intel hardware. My guess is that you'll see updated comparison data when a new CPU comes out :)

Is that a very subtle hint at the ThreadRipper imminent review? :p

Cheers!

We have been retesting the Ryzen models with each new review, but have been working further down the stack in the process (Ryzen 5 models). I retested the 1800X just this week for an upcoming piece, and results (along with memory overclocking) are better in a variety of the benchmarks. It's definitely a challenge to keep up with such a fast-evolving platform.

For now, the most current 1800X results are in the Ryzen 7 1700 review. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-7-1700-cpu-review,5009.html
