Can I use the amd ryzen 7 3700x with the msi b450 tomahawk?

Yes , you just have to update to the latest bios before you install the new Ryzen 7 3700X.
If its the MAX B450 Tomahawk model then update is not required to run the cpu. If not then you can find the latest bios here: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450-TOMAHAWK

I wasn't sure if it was the same process like for the amd ryzen 5 series.
