right on. in the real world, people run modeling software, engineering software, business software, VMs, all of which the AMDs can handle just fine with high core and thread counts to match. All these dopes care about are stupid games.
my FX-8150 is a pro at handling multiple multicore VMs with ease for builds and testing too. At one point, I had a whole VM lab set up for one product. and that's an OLD AMD cpu
With a ThreadRipper, I could have entire complex VM labs set up. We could do away with several of our smaller workstations.
