Question AMD Saphire Nitro+ RX 580 problems

Hi

I have a computer running Windows 7 with an AMD FX processor and 32 gbs of RAM which I upgraded the GPU to an 8 gb AMD Saphire Nitro+ RX 580. I hae gad problems installing the drivers for the gpu now the drivers are installed Windows 7 wont boot accept for in safe mode. Windows starts to boot with animated Win 7 logo then the screen goes blank and then the signal seems to stop going to the monitor.

PSU = Power Cool Pentium P4 modle P0-650AuBA-M 650W
Motherboard = Asus M5A78L-M USB3

The system boots with the gpu removed?

Yes the computer boots okay with GPU removed and it boots into safe mode fine. One thing I didn't mention was that I need to replace CMOS batteray. I wondered if this could be preventing Windows 7 from booting normally?

I'm not sure, but I do know it's what saves all of the bios settings, including date and time.
It shouldn't be too hard to replace it.
