Intel Will Suffer Loss As More People Switch To AMD.

But as always most people will stay fanboys even if one company dies (ex. Quantum made HDs long ago but Maxtor took over and even now Maxtor is owned by Seagate)

Even thought Dell might have a stock of 29.49 (as of 12:19 PM EST), AMD still has its stock of 33.71 (as of 12:19 PM EST) but an income of $5.85 billion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD) whereas Intel has a trade of 19.77
(as of 12:19 PM EST) but an income of $34.2 billion (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel)

But Even If Intel has 99,900 Employees and AMD has 18,100 (2/11ths of Intel) Who Will Win?

But Anywayz I agree with both sides here it`s true that Dells are of cheap quality and are cheaper in quantity but however (sorry parleee this will let you down) my friend bought a dell pc with a pentium 4 @2.4ghz ; 256mb of ram; windows xp pro; cd burner; Office SBE; nVidia Geforce MX440 W/ 64MB vram ; modem and SB Audigy Value which cost him $2400CDN (w/ tax about $2800 ) but it lasted never had to call tech support but only the hard drive was basically unbootable (files and folders still there but winXP no boot) so we bought a new one installed it and everything worked fine so really you pay premium $$ for quality and I think a 3-year warranty.

But oh well my point is that if you pay more $$ you get better quality parts compared to the cheap rip off parts so Dell is a good company for Institutions and businesses due to the discounts and savaings but unfortunately the medium end/low-end but with quality are expensive when you customize it!

When quoting the stock market you really need to post Market capitalization too. People reading your post may think that because a stock is trading at a lower price that company is doing poorly.

By also posting Market CAP and P/E people will have a better understanding of how large the ownership is....

In this case Intel is trading for a lower stock price but its Market Cap shows that it is actually 100 Billion larger company. This is due to the number of shares let.

I beg to differ. I worked for Dell two years and I have very little to complain about them. As messed up as they are, HP, Sony, Viscom (YUCKO!), AlienWare--they all stink. Dell only stinks the least. However this thing where dell sells pcs for less than $900--yep they screwed up big time. The 90 day warrenty is a joke. ONLY get a dell if you get a 3 year warrenty at least. If you pay more than $900 for the dell then you get a great deal. Otherwise get yourself a cheap E-Machine...

HP is not bad. Its known for its workstations and not for Media Center PCS. Trust me I own one and it works fine but when you create a movie in Windows Movie Maker the core temp heats up real hot! 150 degrees to be exact.

Dell is the least stinkiest then Alienware? Who the hell do you think owns Alienware? Dell!

E-Machines is owned by Gateway and Gateway doesn't seem like a bad computer...its just E-Machines is a exremely cheap version of Gateway... basically if you get an e-machine your just using it to type in notepad and surf the web LOL.

Viscom computers aka V2 Premier is the biggest joke in the entire computer industry. Jim Peterson is a pussy and he talks down to the consumer like we're some kind of baby. But he owns a $2 billion dollar industry and has a hot wife and can fuck her pussy and cum all over her tits anytime he wants so when it comes to customer complaints he says - "Fuck you!" literally! Watch him on SHOP NBC channel...he always trys to compare his junk to the market-retail computers (DELL,HP,SONY,ETC) when in fact his computer cannot be found on the market so it is unfair to compare a NON-MARKET computer to a MARKET Computer. He's an apples and oranges business man. I seriously want to smack some sense into this idiot.

As far as customer service is concerned I think these companies are good

I don't hate Dell because they sell Intel, I hate them because they rip people off. Geez, don't you read my posts.

Not everybody is cable of building their own computer. Most people just surf the net and read email. Dell does provide the best deal for these types of people and their computer is built better then emachines. Most people do have a life besides sitting in front of their computer all day and play WOW or whatever games appeases you. Don't force your stupid opinion on others. Who cares.

I build my own computer. I spend some time playing computer games and then other times, I'm out scuba diving or motorcrossing. Balance your life. Too much of one thing is not healthy.
