It all depends on your budget.Both intel and am has pro's and cons.Some idea's
Intel 9900k.
Pro's:
Fastest gaming cpu on the market.
Can Multitask really well.
Cons:
Runs like an oven(needs a good cooler
Pricy compared to what amd offer for the same price
Need expensive Motherboard.
Intel charge a premium for Hyperthreading
AMD
Pro's
King of Multitasking
Can play games fairly well
Cheap specially the 1st and 2nd gen ryzens
Can work on a cheap B450/x370 and i am not 100% sure but b350.
Comes with a stock cooler
Almost all amd cpu's comes with SMT cept the really low budget once.
Cons::
Still not faster than intel in gaming but it's a little Difference if you play on 4k
Comes with a stock cooler Can't really use it to overclock.
For optimal usage.Needs an X570 which cost an arm and a leg but only if you have pciE x4 Devices
That's just to name a few.Both the 9900k and the ryzen cpu's can stream fairly well.Hell my one friend was streaming dota on a 4690k
