Amd vs nVidia

Hey,

Just trying to figure out the advantages of each brand when comparing two similarly priced cards and performance.. Mainly looking at the R9 and 700 series here..

Benefits I know of for nVidia cards are..

Shadowplay
PhysX
Better dual GPU performance

AMD I've not had much dealing with before, but I've read that Eyefinity performs better than nVidia Surround.

What else am I missing? Only really interested in making a decision based on established features. Mantle is really new so I don't know how widely supported that would be. Same for G-sync.

I wouldnt base a purchace on features. I would base it on price range. Nvidia is dominating the mid-upper range right now due to AMDs price increase due to bitcoin mining.

+1(except it's not because of bitcoin mining, but rather litecoin mining)

Well both cards are very similarly priced, I'd just like to know what other unique features each brand offers on their cards as I'm not swayed by a £20 or a 5fps difference etc.

What are the two cards you are comparing here? One might be much better than the other. Nvidia typically has more features, most of which you already listed for both brands.
